Sports club marketing and communications in ensuring gender equality

The sports club must actively communicate with others and enforce gender equality norms in both competition and coaching through its marketing and communication efforts/channels, and promote a culture that is safe, welcoming and inclusive of women. This is achieved by women athletes and/or coaches regularly being regarded as role models with their success. The importance of gender equality must be communicated actively in all publications/media appearances of sports club employees. The sports club is to use looks that showcase the diversity of athletes and coaches. The club has to be gender inclusive in all of its marketing strategies and practices. The club is to recognize the merits of female athletes and/or coaches and celebrate/reward them. It is also necessary to regularly measure and record success by collecting and analyzing data on participation in both competitive activities and coaching, by gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and other characteristics. Collected data is to be used to update and improve club policies. All sports programs are to be evaluated based on the degree of participation of women and disadvantaged persons, with identified gaps addressed in a timely manner. The club is to conduct conversations with current or former athletes/coaches to gain insight into their experiences and use this data to improve the environment/inclusion. What we aim for:
